Based on an urban legend about a babysitter getting some disturbing phone calls (and clearly the inspiration for the beginning of Scream) this film goes for a real, gritty cat and mouse chase for an escaped lunatic killer - with great performances and some legit thrills. The final movie in our round of films from 1979!
